Every photo you take can carry far more than pixels. Phones and cameras quietly embed where you were, when you were there and which device you used. Share that file and anyone can read it. PicStrip redraws each image onto a blank canvas and saves a fresh copy, so the hidden data is removed rather than just edited. Everything happens on your own device.
Why it matters: one photo posted to a marketplace, forum or dating profile can reveal where you live, your daily routine and the device you own, to people you never meant to tell. Scrubbing takes seconds, and your images never leave your browser.

JPEG · PNG · WebP · HEIC/HEIF · AVIF · GIF · batch supported
Browsers can't re-encode HEIC, AVIF or GIF. With "Original" selected, HEIC is saved as JPEG and the others as PNG.
Applies to JPEG and WebP output. PNG is lossless.
The file is decoded to raw pixels. EXIF orientation is applied to the pixels, so the photo doesn't rotate once its tags are gone.
Pixels are painted onto a blank canvas and saved as a new file. Headers, chunks, JUMBF boxes and appended trailers are left behind.
Before you download, the new file is checked byte by byte for EXIF, XMP, IPTC, ICC, C2PA and text chunks.
